Creative Restoration
Expressive Arts Therapy for Adults in Boston, MA
Creative Restoration is an expressive arts therapy program for adults in Boston that uses expressive arts, culturally affirming care, and community connection to support emotional well-being and healing. Led by licensed therapist Jamila Batts Capitman in collaboration with several community based arts and wellness organizations, the program uses visual art, movement, writing, music, drama therapy and storytelling to create space for self-expression, restoration, and meaningful relationships. We are raising $50,000 to support our free, eight-week Spring/Summer program and Fall/Winter virtual programming, helping sustain access to creative wellness support throughout the year. Your donation will help fund skilled facilitators, art supplies, nourishing meals, program space, and virtual gatherings—making these experiences accessible to people who deserve opportunities to rest, create, connect, and heal.
